The fun cliche catchphrase ''The Future is Now" means so much when we're talking about 3D printing. When you think of cool, elegant, futuristic, or sleek designs, do you think of futuristic images you've seen in movies or imagined when reading books? I know I do. That's because I'm a huge nerd and love futuristic stuff! Don't lie, you do too :P

This whole post is about exploring some of the cooler things that can be made with 3D printing! This week we will cover interior design items along with some sci-fi products as well. If you have a side job doing something unique or interesting, we want to hear about it so we can showcase some neat 3D prints for your specific industry!

INTERIOR DESIGN

When it comes to making changes to the inside of your home, you want things to look a certain way! With 3D printing, you can create lamps, vases, centerpieces, candle holders, salt and pepper shakers, and almost anything else you can think of to make your house your home.

SCI-FI/FANTASY

If your love of all things sci-fi leaves you wanting more after seeing a movie or playing a game, fear not! You can custom design almost anything from your favorite show or game in amazing detail. The best part is, the way you envision it and then design it is exactly the way it will print! That's one of the greatest things about this technology- you can create something you've envisioned in your head forever and it will come out exactly the way you pictured it!

No matter how technical you think you are, we all have a creative side that can be harnessed to make some fantastic products. When I said the future is now I wasn't kidding. We are living in a time where we can make almost anything we need in our home, any toy we can think of for our children, and any innovative product to make our world a better place.

I challenge you to use your creative process to come up with something truly unique. If you're up to that challenge, let us see what you come up with! The best design out there will be printed free of charge for the designer!!!

See you next time!
